Rex Princell, Energy Advisor

Rex Princell has been an Energy Advisor at Boone REMC for 18 years. During his tenure at Boone REMC, Rex has helped members reduce their energy bills and get the most value from their energy dollars. He can help members make their homes more energy efficient, determine which home repairs and improvements will deliver the most energy savings, and create a list of the options that members should consider when shopping for new heating or cooling systems or new electric appliances.

Hendricks Power Cooperative

Gregg Wright, Steve Hite, Energy Advisors

Gregg Wright has been an Energy Advisor for Hendricks Power Cooperative since the program was implemented in 2005. He was previously a Sales Technician at the co-op. Gregg developed this role into an ambassador for our members – someone with advice when you want it and help when you need it.

Steve Hite joined Hendricks Power in 2009, when we expanded our program to meet the needs of members. His background includes home construction, so he comes with vast knowledge of construction methods and building codes.

Both Energy Advisors are trained and certified to determine a home’s energy efficiency based on its construction and your individual usage. Gregg and Steve conduct FREE energy audits for our members, helping them find ways to become more efficient and save money. They can also provide recommendations on upgrading equipment and appliances, answer energy-related questions and provide other information relative to your situation.

Parke County REMC

Jeremy Montgomery, Energy Advisor

Jeremy Montgomery is Parke County REMC’s new Energy Services Specialist. Jeremy has helped members reduce their energy bills and get the most value from their energy dollars. He can help members make their homes more energy efficient, determine which home repairs and improvements will deliver the most energy savings, and create a list of the options that members should consider when shopping for new heating or cooling systems or new electric appliances. Jeremy is available to perform Home Energy Audits by request; there is no charge for this service for our members.

SCI REMC

Rick McKinney, Energy Advisor

Rick McKinney is an Energy Advisor at South Central Indiana REMC with over 22 years of experience from the HVAC industry.  Rick is available upon request to perform a free in home Energy Audit to members of South Central Indiana REMC. The Home Energy Audit will provide members with valuable information for improving the energy efficiency of their homes. In addition, Rick is available to work with owners and builders in facilitating the Touch Stone Energy Home program.
